About 3-ply

Founded in 2009, 3-ply is an artist-led imprint that investigates publishing as an experimental, critical, poetic, and performative site for the creation, dispersal, and archiving of texts.

After a pause to reflect on the role of artist-led publishing, 2024 ushered in a relaunch for 3-ply, with three new books launching. This relaunch reflects a renewed commitment to the concept, design, and distribution of publications as art practice, while expanding into access as a strategy for activation and distribution.

3-ply is a project of Fayen d’Evie.

We pay respects to the Dja Dja Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin nation, whose enduring connection to country and culture provides the grounds from which 3-ply was conceived, operated, and continues to unfold. Sovereignty was never ceded.
